One of Australia's oldest indoor stadiums has announced it is closing its doors after 25 years of service.
Megamania had been open in Warners Bay near Newcastle since September 1997 and was a project run by Ken and Cath Smith, taking in around 450 children from day one.
The project manager mentioned that his pre-school children had been inspired by the project when they were on vacation.
It is worth noting that the reasons for the closure had recently increased with the end of the lease contract, in addition to the ongoing challenges and obstacles due to the pandemic and the high costs that contributed to the bad situation.
It is reported that over the course of a quarter of a century, the playground has hosted more than 25,000 children's birthday parties as well as christenings and even weddings.
